Postponement of lectures
@ All lectures and student activities have been postponed for a week beginning 27 July (Monday) until 1 August 2009 (Saturday). This decision is in line with efforts to curb the spread of the Influenza Light Illness (ILI). Lectures will resume on 2 August 2009 (Sunday) @

昨天, around 4pm, receive news from friends that UUM must quarantine for H1N1 . 那时候,我们attend TITAS tutorial at WAKAF.
当下，立刻赶回YAB
我们一头雾水，不知是真是假，不知是否只是传言。。。
心想“如果是真的多好，my course ( comm.tech ) d assignment ( summary journal ) d due date is 29july, i haven done yet......如果真的quarantine ，我可以慢慢完成！”
沿路上，听见many senior 不断讨论这话题
回到YAB，看见many senior 收拾行李，"走路"
我也phone2 some seniors to ask about it
以后，匆匆忙忙收拾行李，去meet with suling at MUAMALAT
Luckily, early morning, planning go back pg at thurs
So Suling help me buy tiket ....
Then, change time to yesterday 8pm bus
我 & Suling, 好像 "Siao Lang ",在DKG1 苦等
从6pm until 7.30pm ++,
a senior come to infrom us，
So,we nearly spend 35min WALK from DKG1 to UUM main door．
从不觉得UUM很大，如今才恍然大悟。。。
如果我从 YAB walk until UUM main door, i think need spend nearly 1hour.
Finally, few hours later, arrive PG
Back to my lovely house
几小时而已，一切的改变的太快。。。
还来不及反应过来，自己以躺在自家床上，倒头大睡
To all UUM friends & Seniors who still in UUM,
take good care & c u all again at sun

意想不到 の 结果
我。。。万万也想不到，
I am a science stream student, with CGPA 2.5,
entering UUM which a famous art courses university.
经过几番考虑。。。
最终，选择了UUM
放弃了我长久以来一直坚持的梦想，
而选择了“Media Technology "
一个连我自己也不太了解是什么的course
只知道课程有点像 ”Mass Communication ”
课程简介:
一门研究各种公共传播媒介，如新闻、广播电视、广告、电影等的科系。
学生将研究传播的基本理论，如媒体的结构、社会角色、社会影响等，
以及学习如何利用各种媒体，将讯息以声音、文字、影像等方式传播给大众的知识与技能，
如新闻资料的整理与编辑、采访与撰写新闻事件的技巧、熟悉各类媒体器材、评估讯息传播的影响、传播政策的拟订、传播机构的管理等。
此外，学生在对此科系有较完整的学习后，可以选择往其中几个专业领域发展，即广播、电视、电影、新闻、广告与公共关系等。
学习内容:
此科系课程的内容包括了新闻编写技巧、媒体法律、语意学、美学、媒体机构管理学、受众分析、媒体报道、网络新闻学、传播学、公共机构政策、媒体与政治研究、公共行政、公共政策分析法、媒体行销、活动管理等。
未来出路:
毕业生一般可进入媒体新闻界，如报馆、电视台、广播电台、电影制作公司等担任各种相关职位，如记者、媒体企划人员、公关、公共政策策划员、节目策划与执行人员、新闻编辑等。
I enjoy live in DPP YAB
Many senior said that YAB better than other hostel in UUM because it more clean & new.
Just a bit far from DKG, but very near with PKU & Stadium.
Other Hostel mostly is 2ppl per room, but YAB is 4ppl per room.
However, I have 3 nice & friendly roommates.
We hope that never change room & roommates until last SEM.
P/S: Senior told us that YAB very lazy & won’t change room until graduate.
So good to hear it because I live in ground floor.
Ground Floor have big & clean toilet compare other floor.
P/S: They wash twice per day ,of coz clean than other floor ,haha !
I hope continue studies in UUM are the best decision I make and won’t regret in future.
Just SEM1 few weeks only, but everyday busy with assignments, haiz.
Study hard & smart ~ Gambateh

UUM Life
At here, already is 3rd week in uum.
Miss my home & pg friends so much
p/s: few days ago just went back pg only
Passing through 1st horrible orientation week, now start enjoy my uum life
During orientation week, everyday just sleep 2hour .
Somemore ,YAB got food poisoning
No wander during talk, all YAB go in go out.....
BTW, all senoir & facilitor treat us good & friendly
They help us a lot
Thank very much
Then i got 2course meet a same crazy lecturer
Sometimes call us send mail to her
Sometimes call us add her in facebook
Sometimes call us blogging
Sometimes call us chat in msn with her to give assigments /tutorial
the Reason given by her is " you r taking media tech, if u all din expert with tech & internet, hw come can be a good cummunicater "
So, going create a new blog for this sem to record all whole sem d lesson
